October has gone by too quickly, here it is the 28th already. The leaves in my corner of NJ have gone from green to vivid shades of red, yellow & gold. Thanks to yesterday's rain my favorite maple has already shed most of its glory.
It's been a busy month at TTL. I started a Facebook Group for my designs. I do hope you'll join, I'll be posting new designs and other news there. We've had the Socktoberfest Mystery Sock KAL - tonight I post the final clue (11:59 EDT). There was Rhinebeck where I happily saw many friends, both old and new. Several new patterns have been created and are in various stages of development - Sofie's Hat & Mitts (should be ready on Monday), the Washington Square Cardigan (the pattern is going out to test knitters soon), Ilsa's Socks for the December shipment of the Yarn 4 Socks Club, a fair amount of top secret knitting and Jagged which is available today.
Jagged is worked in a simple slipped stitch pattern - no need to struggle with two yarns at a time, one yarn rests while the other yarn works. They are worked from the cuff down and have a short row heel.
I made two pairs. For the socks pictured above I used semi-solid kettle dyed yarns (Knit Picks Stroll - sadly the colors that I used have been discontinued but they have some gorgeous "Tonals"). For the pair below I used one semi-solid and one self striping yarn (Scout's Swag 100% Merino Superwash, if you ask nicely she may dye these special ordered colors for you). I look forward to seeing the combinations that knitters choose for this pattern. I think it will be a fun one to experiment with.

The socks are gorgeous! I love the first color combo. And I did join your Facebook Group a few days ago. Yipey!
I can't wait for Sofie's Hat. I saw it in the other picture of her wearing the purple sweater and was immediately drawn to it.

I've only just recently discovered your site. It's beautiful! I wasn't able to join the Mystery Sock this time but it's first on my list after I finish up some holiday knitting. I just bought some Madelinetosh Sock yarn today (another first...) and I can't wait. Thanks for a great site and for the mystery sock.

I'm been waiting for these ever since the teaser that went out a few weeks ago. Love them and they're in my library ready for the perfect yarn combo. Thanks Kirsten! You never fail to please :-)
