Violet Macarons
I hope all of the mom's out there have a wonderful day today. I know I will with these wonderful treats that IJK whipped up for me and the perfect tote that SKK made.
Tote pattern found in Joelle Hoverson's Last Minute Patchwork and Quilted Gifts.
The treats sound fabulous (and look gluten free!). The bag is darling. Your kids are fabulous.

Happy belated Mom's Day. I would love the source of those awesome looking Violet Macarons too. IJK seems like a talented baker. I remember forever ago she made brownies with cayenne. Does she just add it to a box mix or is there a recipe she has for those too? I always meant to ask. Thanks!

Hi Katie,
For the Brownies they simply add 1/2 tsp cayenne & 1/4 tsp cinnamon to their favorite recipe.
The Violet Macaron recipe is from Tartelett. You'll find it here.

those macaroons look awesome! did you use the 'violet sugar' the recipe called for, and if so, where did you get it?
