Thanks for stopping by. I've recently updated my pattern store. You will also find my patterns on Ravelry.
The new Knitty is up and I am thrilled to have a pattern in it. Sofie likes to wear Que Sera with a sweet floral skirt and kicky pair of boots, but it works just as well with a pair of jeans or a more tailored skirt. As a matter of fact, Sofie just dashed out the door for school wearing Que Sera with a t shirt, jeans and a pair of flip flops. (The flip flops being a bit questionable since it's going to be cool and rainy today.)
Que Sera is worked in one piece to the armholes, then divided and the upper fronts and back are worked separately. The sleeves are also worked separately and sewn into place. I embellished mine with rhinestone buttons because I wanted to add to the vintage look of the sweater.
There are lots of photos of Que Sera on Knitty and even more on Ravelry and Flickr in case you want to see more.
Que Sera
Sizes: XS[S, M, L, 1X, 2X, 3X]

Gauge: 16 sts and 24 sts in 4" in lace pattern, blocked

Congratulations! This is a beautiful pattern that will definitely be added to my queue for summer knitting!

You never cease to amaze me! This is a beautiful sweater. What a great reason to knit some BlueSky Cotton, too. The buttons are just the right touch! It has a great name too. Thank you!

Really beautiful design Kirsten (already said this on flickr but it can't be overstated)! All the colours in the photos are stunning too!
My kids have the same confused sense of seasons after that lovely warm weather we just had..trying hard to convince them we haven't jumped straight to summer yet!

I'm not normally a big fan of knit lace sweaters - they almost always feel too fussy or same-old-same-old to me (except for the vintage ones I find at thrift stores or church sales), as if modern-day knit designers just can't quite get it right. But you did. The lace pattern, the shape, the detailing at the shoulders - THIS is a lace cardigan worth making, and one that I would love to wear.
And what a lovely model you have! My daughter is fourteen and I just wish wish wish she wanted me to knit for her. Where did Sophie get her boots? They're super cool and I'd love to get a pair, or at least get a pair for my girl and then borrow them allllll the time.

I just came across your blog via this month's Knitty... you're contribution is lovely. I haven't knit in a long time, I think because I am most inspired by the projects I've seen in crochet-land. But browsing through these pages, your projects have inspired me to pieces! I can't decide which to try first. Thank you!
