Thank you for all of your kind blogiversary wishes. The past three years have been an amazing ride thanks to all of you.
My new shawl pattern "Ulmus" is now available.
The body of Ulmus is created with a simple two row slipped stitch pattern, alternating two colors of Malabrigo Sock, or any fingering weight yarn.
The shawl is edged with a delicate lace pattern, worked entirely in one of the two colors used for the body.
This is a great stash busting project for those of us who have overindulged in sock yarn. If you can't find just the right combo in your stash, treat yourself and buy new yarn. If you haven't tried it yet, Malabrigo Sock is a pleasure to knit with. As we have come to expect from Malabrigo it is oh so soft.
A huge thank you to my skilled test knitters Caryl, Mai & Julia.

It's very beautiful. I have not had the pleasure of knitting with Malabrigo Sock yet, but my close friend is obsessed with Mal so I do get to see it up close and personal-like.

That's really beautiful. I love the difference between the edging and the body of the shawl. And are you saying some of us might have a sock yarn problem? I'm sure I don't know what you mean.

Oh my, it's spectacular. I really love the colors you used. I agree that it's a great sock yarn stashing project. Hmmm....must look through my stash to see what can be used together.

Think this might be my next project for Project Spectrum.....I'm already trying to pick something for our 5 day car journey back to the East in June.....5 days with Malabrigo sock yarn could make it a lot more bearable!

Wow, that's a beautiful shawl! I have never knit a lace shawl, maybe this will be my first..?

Very nice! Lace and I don't get along too well, but this has just enough and just LITTLE enough. Love it!

Beautiful shawl. What size did you knit? I'm wondering about the yardage differences in the different sizes if I am going to use a yarn that has a different yardage per skein.

I'm so glad this is available. I really love it. Now, I have to wait until my next pay day, before I can buy it!! It always happens this way!
I love it! Thanks for offering it!

This is really beautiful...I find a lot of shawl patterns to be too fussy for my taste but this one is just perfectly elegant yet restrained.

It was really cool to see your lovely shawl in person last weekend (and SO GREAT to finally meet you!)
Love this - the combo of the slip stitch pattern and the lace is really unique, great effect!
