Blogging. Hmm-mm. . . I guess I’m a bit of a latecomer. I’ve been reading blogs for a while. Thinking what fun it would be to share my work and thoughts. So here I am.
I don’t remember when I learned to knit. Sometime in childhood. All types of arts and crafts were always there. My mom sewed almost all of our clothes, my grandfather was a painter and sculptor. It was unheard of to give a store-bought birthday card. I eventually went to art school and after college became a textile designer in NYC. Now I’m at home raising my kids and following my ideas where ever they lead me. I’m happiest when I’m creating. Within the past two years, knitting has become my obsession! My stash has grown to embarrassing proportions.
I always have many projects on the needles. I do manage to finish most of them. I am currently working on a top down raglan cardigan in Arunciana Patagonia Nature Cotton that I picked up at Seaport Yarns last year. It's knitting up very fast on size 10 needles. I've listed the rest of my WIPs in the sidebar.
Hey sis :) Nice blog! Mutti and I had a good time checking it out. Keep it up! We loved seeing some of your finished projects. I can't wait to see the celtic knot one. I've been working on designing a celtic knot sweater myself so I am interested to see what you came up with.

I'm enjoying your blog. It's visually appealing and so fun to see what you're up to. Glad you're sharing your Sunkist pattern but i'll need the extra ball of yarn. I'm inspired by your recent dying project. Am anxiously awaiting my swap partners' color choices so I can get started dying the sock yarn. I'm wondering if I can handle the pomatomus pattern for my first attempt at scking?
