Kanagawa Rainbow
There is something about colorwork projects that make them very difficult for me to put down. This mitten was knit in about two and a half days (including weaving in all of the ends). The key here will be to get its mate on the needles before I get sidetracked by something else. I really, really want to wear these this winter.
Pattern: Kanagawa Mittens
Yarn: Cascade 220 Sport in colors (in no particular order): 4010, 8914, 7803, 9448, 7824, 2401, 8885, 9454, 2452, 9566, & 9456
Needles: US 2
For: TTL Colorwork KAL

Love! Colorwork is addicting that way for me, too. Hmmm. Maybe I'll make some mittens.

Those colours were definitely the right colours to go with. Lovely...you have to finish the other one immediately!

It's the "one more round" syndrome and you had it bad. Fortunately, the prognosis is good. You'll be cured after one more mitten.

Oh, those are really pretty! It was so nice meeting you in real life at Fiber College!!!

I love them! You have inspired me. I just put the booklet in my Rav basket and will be at my LYS choosing my own 220 sport colors later today. I do have a question. Would fit be adversely affected if I did a kid silk liner? Thanks for all your great patterns. I am working Perry Street now and love it.

I love those! They are fantastic. They make me wonder what kind of leftover yarn I have at home...

Thanks Bonnie.
These would be great for using up small bits of leftover stash. I used very little of each color.
Best,
Kirsten

Oh cool! Do you know if anyone might have plans to offer this as a kit? I'd love to be able to buy that many colors of Cascade 220 Sport (or any sport weight yarns) but it's kind of a huge financial investment to do so. I'd be all over a kit though!

I love these! I remember thinking that the green, blue, white and brown color combo was my favorite but now I'm really not sure...

This looks so pretty. What makes it more special is the fact that it is handmade. The colors on this are beautifully knitted together.
