Rainy Fridays

Jeanne Back Meadow

Thank you all for your overwhelming response to Ulmus.  If anyone is interested there is a knitalong for the pattern in the Through the Loops group on Raverly.

Jeanne Body Pattern

I finished my latest shawl design yesterday.  It is knit using Schaefer Anne that Laura so kindly sent me to design with.  The colorway is bluebell.  The shawl took one skein of Anne.  I love this yarn for lace.  The yardage is generous enough to get a good sized shawl, the colors are amazing as we've come to expect from Schaefer, and it blocks really, really well.

I'm sending the pattern to test knitters today, so hopefully it will be ready soon.  You'll find more details on the project page on Ravelry.

Jeanne Front Meadow

I'm off to MDS&W tomorrow.  If you're going and you see me, say "hi".

For now, I'm off to play golf in the rain.

Wow, that's beautiful! I'd knit it, and I'm not a shawl knitter...

Really beautiful - fantastic color! And the pictures themselves are beautiful. I look forward to the knit along on Ravelry. Thanks again for inspiration!

Oh no! How can I keep up?! I have a skein of pink Anne in my stash that's been calling out. Now it has a project! Another beautiful shawl, Kirsten!

It's beautiful! I have one skein of Anne in my stash, but I was thinking of using it for Ulmus. Now, maybe I think I should wait for this pattern. Decisions, decisions!

Yup, it's a crappy rainy day. Melody is not going to be too happy about having to stay in. We go to the park everyday to expend her extra energy.

i can't wait to meet you!! will you be wearing this beautiful shawl? :)

That is so lovely!

beautiful shawl! i love the way the large diamonds on the border anchor the busier center lace pattern. i will definitely queue this up right away when it comes out!

Beautiful shawl and fantastic photo!

The shawl is beautiful. I love the color. The photos are great as well.

The pictures you took of this shawl impressed me very much. I admit I looked at the shawl only second, it's lovely.

Another gorgeous shawl! I love Schaeffer Anne for shawls, too. The yardage is so generous. Have fun at the festival this weekend.

Another gorgeous design!! Thank you!

Wow. Beautiful!

Beautiful photoshoot too.

Gorgeous shawl, and the color is beautiful!

That shawl is absolutely gorgeous!

It was fabulous meeting you! Such a surprise!

Another lovely shawl- beautiful work!
Happy knitting-

One word ~ gorgeous!

Beautiful! You are so creative and talented. I'm in awe of how fast you can put out gorgeous patterns!

What a beautiful shawl.

I think it's a little mean to put a picture of the Jeanne shawl in your Ravelry ad when I can't buy it ;-) Every time I see the ad, I click on it, thinking "Ooh - I can buy it!" It is a really beautiful shawl, and the color is outstanding.

Ooo! Pretty! Great color and design. Did you have fun hauling that dress form into the yard?

SOOO very lovely!..Your work is always so pleasing to see!

Very pretty! I have a skein of Anne in blue-violet I came across the other day, and I wondered what in the world I could knit with it, as I don't like socks with any mohair content. Now I know.

I love the styling on the mannequin - so lovely!
