A New Something

Slipped Shawl

I've just finished the new design above.  It is a triangular shawl worked with Malabrigo Sock yarn (much too lovely a yarn for the feet in MHO).  The body of the shawl is worked in a slipped stitch pattern and the border is lace.

Shawl Close

The pattern is out with test knitters and should be ready soon.
I've also got a new sock pattern coming in the next week or two as well as a little surprise pattern to help celebrate the third anniversary of Through the Loops.  More details on that in the next day or two.

Ulmus Slipped Shawl

Pattern:  "Ulmus" coming soon.

Yarn:  Malabrigo Sock

Colors:  Indiecita & Abril, 1 skein of each

Needles:  US 5

See it on Ravelry

Very beautiful! I'm already dreaming of colors to use.

I so love this pattern, not so lacy, just a little lace. Very nice. Can you say "Ravel It!?

Beautiful. Can't wait for the pattern!

It looks spectacular - I can't wait!

amazing! i love how you paired the simple inside with the lace border - so unique and it works perfectly. Also a bonus for a lace wannabe like me!

Lord have mercy I love it.

Wow! I'm getting ready to start a blessing/journey/prayer shawl for a friend, and this just clicked for that project. Very soon, I hope!

Beautiful and I'm sure very warm shawl. It's great combination.

That's a beautiful shawl. I lovely idea to use slip stitch. You are certainly quite busy! :o)

I love this design. Great work.

Love the colors you used in the shawl. I have been trying to find a shawl pattern because I finally warmed up to the idea of knitting a shawl.

Can't wait to see your anniversary surprise.

Love the combination of using a slip stitch and lace.

it is absolutely beautiful!

Very pretty. I've never been a shawl person, but I may have to change that soon. I keep seeing shawls I want to knit...

Oh that is so lovely.

Wow. That is stunning (and I am not a shawl person!). Can't wait to see all the new stuff you have cooking. If you ever need test knitters, I have loads of stash waiting to be used and knitters hands anxious for inspiration to get them going again!

Wow, gorgeous! I'm not a shawl person, but I think I'd wear this one :)

really pretty!!

Breathtaking. Jill S

This is GORGEOUS!! any idea when the pattern will be up for sale or available? I would love to make this!
