A New Something
I've just finished the new design above. It is a triangular shawl worked with Malabrigo Sock yarn (much too lovely a yarn for the feet in MHO). The body of the shawl is worked in a slipped stitch pattern and the border is lace.
The pattern is out with test knitters and should be ready soon.
I've also got a new sock pattern coming in the next week or two as well as a little surprise pattern to help celebrate the third anniversary of Through the Loops. More details on that in the next day or two.
Pattern: "Ulmus" coming soon.
Yarn: Malabrigo Sock
Colors: Indiecita & Abril, 1 skein of each
Needles: US 5

Very beautiful! I'm already dreaming of colors to use.

Love the colors you used in the shawl. I have been trying to find a shawl pattern because I finally warmed up to the idea of knitting a shawl.
Can't wait to see your anniversary surprise.

Very pretty. I've never been a shawl person, but I may have to change that soon. I keep seeing shawls I want to knit...

Wow. That is stunning (and I am not a shawl person!). Can't wait to see all the new stuff you have cooking. If you ever need test knitters, I have loads of stash waiting to be used and knitters hands anxious for inspiration to get them going again!
