Behind the Scenes at Casa TTL
My girls thought it was time you see what they have to put up with during our photo sessions. At least they get a lot of hand knits in the deal.

I know we are almost a week past the end of Socktoberfest but I'v finally taken some finished photos of my TTL Mystery Socks . I've only got one completed sock of each.
Left: 60 Stitch Basic Sock in Colinette Jitterbug, colorway Elephant's Daydream
Middle: 64 Stitch Cabled Sock in Dream in Color Smooshy, colorway GoGo Grassy
Right: 64 Stitch Basic Sock in Three Waters Farm Hand Painted Superwash Merino - I bought this yarn when I was visiting my mom in NC last summer. Sorry the tag is long gone so I have no idea of the colorway. This sock was the prototype that I knit last summer. It has been voted most likely to have a mate since I'm past the gusset decreases on its partner.
There were many others half knit and ripped to test various sizes and versions. These three represent the only ones completed. Hopefully they'll each have a mate before next Socktoberfest!
PS Did you notice DD#2's new haircut?

The photos are so funny! I'd never thought about the contortions it would take to get such lovely shots!

That's hilarious. They seem to be taking the torture well.

Great pics! It's hard to tell from here but the yarn on the right looks surprisingly like the Yarn Pirate "Sagebrush" that I'm using on my husband's Charades: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/unpastis/charade
In real life, the color is much closer to your photo.

I am hoping that my kids will have the same enthusiasm for modeling the knits as they get older--because seriously, nobody's kids model the knits like yours. I love the TTL socks,K. I have teh cuffs on the needles still...I couldn't decide to knit with cables or without. Also, I am pregnant and lazy. Yeah, that's it.

I love the behind the scenes shots!
Sometimes as I'm taking sock pictures (I take all my own with contorted positions or a self timer), I think, what if someone (non family/ non knitter) was watching me - they'd think I was crazy! You are so lucky to have 2 adorable willing models!
