There is Pumpkin Bread in My Future
DD #1 is an amazing cook. She has worked wonders with wok and tofu a number of nights this week - to the delight of the rest of us. Next on her chopping block is this impressive squash. I for one am looking forward to some tasty pumpkin bread.
The mitts have been laying around for a few days awaiting their moment in the spotlight. I knit them with yarn spun from BFL roving that I hand painted over a year ago. I really wasn't sure about the yarn until I made the mitts. Now I love it - and them.
ETA - Gah! What's with iGoogle and Flickr, looking all different? That just happened while I was putting up this post!

These gloves are lovely and so it that fabulous pumpkin. The color of the pumpkin would make a great sweater.

Those are some darn cute mitts, perfect for fall! Plus BFL is always so nice and soft. Mmm.. pumpkin bread. I just made pumpkin chocolate chip muffins, and they were delicious.

Oh no, Flickr too? The iGoogle change is driving me nuts!
Oh, and wonderful mitts! My husband lost one of his last night so I'm on a pattern hunt today trying to decide on the next pair. I like the choice of simple mitt with your pretty handspun, very nice.

The color of the pumpkin is amazing! Who knew pumpkins came in a silver sage color (at least that's what shows up on my monitor)
I love the mitts. What pattern did you use?
