My Favorite Toy!
On Saturday morning I had a little fun with my ball winder. In the spirit of Socktoberfest, I wound up most of my sock yarn. Now I am prepared to simply grab and knit! Whoopee! Ah, but what to choose?
Top Row: Cabin Cove Mercantile, my own handpainted, Lornas Laces Shepherd Sock
Middle Row: my own hand painted again, two balls of Sundara gifted to me by my wonderful KSKS pal; Keohinani, my own handpainted
Bottom Row: Socks That Rock, Cabin Cove Mercantile, Lisa Souza Lime and Violet colorway, Lisa Souza Can't E Lope; both from my Sockret Pal
There is of course, much more sock yarn than this in the stash. I've got a basket full, as well as some hidden away in my yarn chest.
In my little world, all is well. I am a girl with a lot of yarn! :)

Oh, and that orange yarn in the middle of your basket - with the green and brown and pink in it -- that is one way-cool colorway! Such an intriguing color combination. Can't wait to see that knit up! And I don't usually go for orange!

Wow that would be a hard decision. Lots of pretty! I spent a long time looking at Lisa's site before work this morning. I'd never been there before and oh my gosh..it's a good thing I'm broke. I want it all!

Nothing better on a Monday than a basket full of sock yarn all wound and ready to go. Your hand-paints are all so beautiful. I was winding a few sock skiens too, until a major head-ache hit me. After a little nap it's doing better, so I'm hoping to start knitting some of it this afternoon. :)

Love the basket display! I've considered balling up all my sock yarn, so I can "grab n go". There have been too many times when I've wanted to knit a particular sock yarn but couldn't wind it in time to go.
