Free Pattern: Sunkist Cardi
At last I have finished writing up the pattern for my Sunkist Cardi. I know I promised it over a month ago, but I'm easily distracted!
I've only done the pattern in one size, 34". I made it with negative ease, my bust measurement is 36". Since it's knit as a topdown raglan, it should be pretty easy to modify to your own size. For a good formula for topdown raglans follow this link.
This is the first time I've written up a pattern for other people to knit from. If you find any errors, unclear instructions, or have any other thoughts, please let me know. Also, if anyone actually knits this, I would love to see photos. I will link to them or post them here.
The pattern is in the sidebar. Enjoy!

Thanks for the pattern! It may be a while before I can start it, but it's on my "must make" list!!

Hi Kirsten! Thanks for saying hi on my site! Hopefully we'll 'bump' into each other at other KALs :)

Thank you so much for the beautiful free pattern. I'm trying to download it (even upgraded to Adobe Reader 7.0 to do so), but I come up with a blank page. Will you forgive me if I ask that you email it to me as an attachment? I'm so sorry to trouble you this way, but I think it may be the solution (your pattern) to what my first handspun cotton wants to be. It's adorable, and my size. Thank you for sharing it.
Love your blog, too. I recently jumped here from somewhere (can't remember where, but probably the Amazing Lace link, from whence I voted for you. I think it was the tennis court photo that did me in!).

Thanks so much, I have been working on a topdown cardi, making it up as I go along, but this is the sweater I had in my mind! I enjoy your blog.
